Payment gateway, Swipe2Pay has announced a challenge in a bid to rally support for healthcare professionals that are on the front line during the COVID -19 crisis. The arrangement in partnership with the Uganda Medical Association seeks to challenge people to do up to 10 pushups, donate at least UGX 10,000 & nominate 10 people.
Our doctors have tenaciously responded to the crisis by running over 1,000 tests a day, treating the infected, and also offering free over the phone consultations to people with symptoms. Amidst all this, they have families that depend on them for financial support not to mention the constraints they have to navigate to go about their duty to serve.
Swipe2Pay is looking to run the #theTen10 challenge aimed to raise money for healthcare professionals. To participate, simply do 10 push-ups, donate a minimum of UGX10,000 to the medics, and nominate 10 other people to do the same and repeat the cycle.
